Funeral Services will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 1993, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Ronald Reimer with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Ruth Griffin was born March 15, 1900, at Chicago, Ill., daughter of the late Robert and Emma Carle Griffin. She attended Milwaukee schools graduating from a Milwaukee high school and came to Manitowoc as a young lady residing here since. She did clerking at Henderson Hoyt and Schuette Department stores and was also a dental assistant. She married Lester Lambries October 11, 1955, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death October 20, 1978. Mrs. Lambries was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include a nephew, William Kadow and his wife Sharon, St. Petersburg, Fla.; a niece, Mildred Griffin, Milwaukee; special friends, Ora and Joseph Lambries, Manitowoc; other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Roy Griffin, and a sister, Mabel C. Kadow.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. by Deacon William Klein.
