Isadore J. Langlois, 68, of 1206 Phillipen St., Manitowoc, died Friday
morning at Hoy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home
and at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev.
James DeWitt will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Langois was born June 7, 1902, at Fond du Lac, son of the late David
and Amelia Balthazor Langlois. He moved to Manitowoc with his parents as
a young man. He married Regina M. Pinkowski Oct. 17, 1927, at St.
Boniface Church, Manitowoc. Prior to his retirement in 1961 he had been
employed at Wisconsin Malting Co. for 32 years. Mr. Langois was a Third
Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a 25-year member of the
Fraternal Order of Eagles and a member of the Holy Name Society of St.
Andrew Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert J. of Manitowoc and Richard
of Waterford, Wis.; a brother, David of Clinton, Iowa; five sisters, Mrs.
Lester Mittnacht Sr. and Mrs. James Kramer of Manitowoc, Mrs. Henry
Feudner of Sheboygan, Mrs. Milton Schilling of Milwaukee and Mrs. Hilary
Anhalt of Wauwatosa and 13 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday where a memorial
service will be at 7 p.m. by members of the Knights of Columbus, parish
and friends.
