Helen R. LeClair, age 72, a resident of the Wright Home, Manitowoc, since July of 1996, died Easter Sunday morning, March 30, 1997, at the home.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 1997,a at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian burial will be the Rev. Ronald Reimer with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born April 3, 1924, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Lemberger Buchner. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School Class of 1942 and also was a graduate of Milwaukee School of Nursing. On April 10, 1948, she married Glenn LeCLair at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death January 26, 1990. Mrs. LeClair was employed as a Registered Nurse at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center and Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc, until her retirement in 1988. She was a member of the Wisconsin Nursing Association.
Survivors include two sons, Steven LeClair and his fiancée Donna Sickinger, Manitowoc, Mark LeCLair, Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Philip Brandl, Delavan, Wis.; five grandchildren, Michelle, Amy and Adrian LeClair, Manitowoc, Allison and Brad Brandl, Delavan; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Margaret McDonnell, Daly City, Calif., Marie Urban, Sun City, Ariz., Ann Braunel, Whitelaw, Katherine and Ed Koszut, Glenwood, Ill.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Everette and Lillian LeClair, Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law, Germaine Buchner, Milwaukee, Elaine Buchner, Manitowoc; a special friend, Louse Mecca, Manitowoc; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Loyola Kurth, and four brothers, Joseph Buchner, Deacon Edward Buchner, Richard Buchner and Robert Bucner.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. this Tuesday (TONIGHT) where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. by Deacon William Klein.
