Will Sets Aside Money for Masses, Flowers For Graves, St. Mary’s Orphanage
The last wish of Mrs. Mary McFarland, Four Corners inn keeper, that she be buried in a grey casket in a grey silk dress and with her jewelry, was carried out by her relatives this week, when final rites for the deceased were held at the Sacred Heart church here. These specific requests, which also provided for sums of money for masses for herself and her deceased husbands and son, and also money to provide bouquets for the graves in the years to come, were disclosed today when the last will of Mrs. McFarland was filed for probate in the county court.
The East Wisconsin Trustee company is named executor to carry out the provisions. (Remainder of article lists details of bequests, burial with jewelry, etc.)
