EDWARD MCGLIN

Edward G. McGlin, 79, a Manitowoc resident, who resided at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc, died Sunday morning, March 1, 1987 at Park Lawn Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Ronald Reimer with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. McGlin was born November 26, 1907 at Black Creek, Wisconsin, son of the late Philip and Etta Rogler McGlin. He married the former Catherine M. Kemmeter on October 15, 1929 at Menasha, Wisconsin.

The couple moved to Manitowoc after their marriage. She preceded him in death February 2, 1969. Prior to his retirement, Mr. McGlin had been employed at Portland Cement Company for many years.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Sally McGlin of Two Rivers, Kenneth and Sylvia McGlin of Manitowoc and Robert and Mary McGlin of Mishicot; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary E. and Charles Vallejo of Manitowoc, Ruth Ann and Henry Smith of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Cecilia and George Bashaw of Manitowoc; a brother, Bernard McGlin of Janesville, Wisconsin; a sister, Mrs. Clemens (Marie) Zipperer of Fond du lac; 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by a son, two daughters and a brother.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5 pm to 9 pm Tuesday. Prayer Service will be held at 8 pm Tuesday evening led by Deacon William Klein.

LOCAL MAN MARRIED AT MENASHA TODAY
A wedding of local interest took place today when Miss Catherine Marie Keinnmeter (sic), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Keinnmeter of Menasha became the bride of Edward McGlinn (sic), son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip McGlinn, 1121 New York avenue, at a pretty church wedding which took place at the St. Mary's Catholic church at Menasha at six o'clock this morning.
A wedding breakfast was served to immediate relatives and friends of the couple at the home of the bride's parents.
Miss Marie McGlinn, sister of the groom was the bridesmaid, while John Keinnmeter, brother of the bride acted as groomsman.
The couple left on a honeymoon trip which will take them to Milwaukee and other points of interest in the southern part of the state. They will return to this city where they will make their home at Twentieth and Marshall streets.
Out of town guests present at the wedding were, Mr. and Mrs. Philip McGlinn and sons, Bernard and Sherman, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Blanche Ustrum of Minneapolis.
