Raymond J. Meyer, age 74, of 3006 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening, October 28, 1992 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 8:30 a.m. Saturday, October 31, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 9 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Presiding the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Roman Zbieranski, O.F.M. with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born January 20, 1918 at Manitowoc, son of the late Henry E. and Elizabeth Neuser Meyer. Mr. Meyer served in the United States Army Signal Corps. In the European Theater from 1942 to 1945. He married the former Ester Marie Zendala October 30, 1948, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She preceded him in death April 16, 1986. He then married the former Evelyn Kolar on June 29, 1989? at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Meyer was employed with the Kortas Automotive Company of Manitowoc for 23 years retiring in 1986?
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Meyer of Manitowoc; a sister Leona Kahl, Manitowoc; a sister-in-law, Margaret Meyer, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by two brothers.
