ROSE MEYER (d. 2007)
Rose Meyer, age 102, of St. Mary's Home at Felician Village, formerly of 1315 Fairmont Lane, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Saturday morning, July 28, 2007, at St. Mary's Home.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo. The Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated by the Rev. Daniel Felton, the Rev. Gerald Foley and the Rev. John Neuser. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Rose was born on May 29, 1905, in Reedsville. She was the daughter of the late Emil and Agnes Vondrachek Svatek. On April 10, 1929, she married Albert P. Meyer in Reedsville. He preceded her in death on November 30, 1975. Rose was a charter member of the former Holy Innocents Catholic Church and the former Christian Women of Holy Innocents.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Albert in 1975; an infant daughter: Mary Jane; one daughter: Sister Francita (Joann) Meyer; five brothers: the Rev. Frank Svatek, Emil Svatek, Wencel Svatek,
Adolph Svatek and Charles Svatek; four sisters: Mary Holschbach, Barbara Holschbach, Agnes DeCramer and Rosa Svatek.
Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 7 p.m., lead by Deacon Kenneth Nelesen. The visitation will continue at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.
