ALPHONSE MEYER

Alphonse Meyer, 67, of 2110 S. 14th St., Manitowoc, died Friday at his residence.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. James Stamborski will officiate with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Meyer was born May 18, 1908, at Manitowoc, son of the late Matt and Katherine Wagner Meyer. He married Teresa Wellner June 25, 1934 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He was employed as a pattern maker at Manitowoc Engineering Co., Manitowoc, for 31 years, retiring in 1971. He was also a musician in Fricke's Trio for 15 years. He was an honorary member of Manitowoc Musicians Local, a lifetime member of Pattern Makers League and a member of Manitowoc Senior Center.

Survivors include his wife, four sons, Mathew, Thomas, Ronald and David, and a daughter, Mrs. Peter (Kathleen) Rosland, of Manitowoc;a brother, Albert M., of Whittier, Calif., and six grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m. The family requests memorials to the new Manitowoc Senior Center building fund.
