Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pfeffer funeral home and 9 a.m. at the St. Paul Catholic church, Father Martin Jaekels officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
Mr. Michalek was born in Manitowoc in 1887. In 1910 he married Mathilda Weina. He lived in Manitowoc all his life, moving to his last place of residence 13 years ago. He was employed at the Wisconsin Aluminum foundry.
He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Ray Zimmer of Sturgeon Bay and Mrs. Eleanor Pankratz and Mrs. Rudy Zimmer both of Manitowoc; two sons, Daniel of Two Rivers and Chester of Manitowoc; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Weina and Mrs. Louis Aumann both of Manitowoc and Sister Leocadia of Reedsville; and a brother, Ignatz of Manitowoc; five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Wednesday until time of services. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
