Announcement yesterday of the death of Edgar J. Miller, son of P.A. Miller, came as a shock to the community and caused sincere sorrow to a large circle of friends of the family. Mr. Miller’s death was due to pneumonia and followed an illness of but six days duration.
Mr. Miller was 23 years of age, having been born in Liberty, on Nov. 10, 1895. The family removed to the city the same year. The boy attended St. Boniface school and graduated in 1910 and in 1915 graduated from the high school. Mr. Miller was associated with his father in business, conducting two stores in the grocery line.
Decedent is survived by his parents and one brother, Omar Miller who is at Camp Custer. He was a member of the local council, Knights of Columbus and held the office of lecturer for the past two years. He was a quiet unassuming young man, popular with friends and possessed
the qualifications of the successful business man and his death is sad. Funeral arrangements have not been made, awaiting word from his brother.
