MAX MILSKI

Max Milski, 88, of 1322 S. 13th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient two days.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. Alfred Pritzl officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Milski was born Dec. 22, 1872, at Bromberg, Germany, son of the late Felix and Marie Retzka Milski. He came to the United States at the age of 12 and learned the carpentry trade. He was employed by Smalley Manufacturing Co., Manitowoc, until he opened his own business, a bookstore in 1909 at Ninth and Jyay (sic) streets, Manitowoc. Ill health forced him to retire in 1938.
He married Clare Kadow Oct. 14, 1902, at Manitwooc and they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1952 with an open house in their home at 1322 S. 13th St. His wife preceded him in death in 1960.

Mr. Milski was a membeer of the Catholic Order of Foresters and a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mildred, of Manitowoc; a son, Edwin, of Manitowoc; a brother, Roman, of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Geerdts, of Manitowoc and a grandson (private), of Manitowoc.

Friends may call at the funeral home, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 o'clock this Friday evening by members of the Daughters of Isabella, the Holy Name Society and members of the parish.
