Town Of Newton Native Will Be Buried Thursday
Manitowoc, Wis. – Mrs. John Muchowski, 57, a native of the town of Newton, who died here at her home Sunday after a year's illness, will be buried Thursday afternoon.
Funeral services were held at 8:30 a.m. at the residence and at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's church. The Rev. J. M. Pociecha will officiate and burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
Mrs. Muchowski's maiden name was Katherine Tomchek. She was born March 6, 1880, in the Town of Newton and was married October 10, 1899, in Newton. The family lived in Sheboygan for a year and one-half before coming to Manitowoc. They resided in this city for thirty-six
years.
Surviving are the widower, three daughters, Mrs. Frank Lesner of Chicago; Miss Celia uchoMwski and Miss Irene Wier, both at home; two sons, Matt J. and Ben, both of this city; two brothers, Albert Tomchek, of this city, and Walter of Newton; two sisters, Mrs. John Rohde and Mrs. John Mrotek, both of this city, and four grandchildren.
