Mrs. Catherine Houze, age 95, of McDonough, passed away on April 19, 2015.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Forest Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodson Houze; parents, James E. and Evie Lois Pate; siblings, Hoyt Pate, Thomas Pate, Evie Lois Nappier and David Pate.
She is survived by her children, Charles (Jackie) Houze of McDonough, Susan Elaine Houze of McDonough; sister, Mary Virginia Weaver of Marietta; grandchildren, Monica (Chris) Miner, Michael (Jessica) Houze, Mackenzie (Al) Garrett; great grandchildren, Lindsey Miner, Mallory Miner, Evan Garrett and Liam Garrett.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, April 24, 2015 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will be at Forest Grove Cemetery in Forest Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 11AM-1PM at the funeral home.
