Lawrence D. LeClair, age 83, of 807 20th St., Two Rivers, died Thursday evening, January 16, 1997, at North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, January 20, 1997, at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers and 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Paul Schumacher with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
He was born September 28, 1913, in Two Rivers, son of the late Nelson and Theresa Colling LeClair. On August 8, 1936, hemarried the former Theresa Rocklewitz at Sacred heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in August 1996. Mr. LeClair was a commercial fisherman with Suzy Q Fishing Company for many years until his retirement. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa, Two Rivers; three brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Lucille LeClair, Victor and Janet LeClair, all of Two Rivers, Dale and Joan LeClair, Waukesha; three sisters, Angeline Kummerow, Miss Constance LeClair, both of Two Rivers, Dorothy Defanet, Albuquerque, N.M.; two sisters-in-law, Mavis Rocklewitz, Two Rivers, Lillian LeClair, Manitowoc; a brother-in-law and his wife, Walter Rocklewitz and Evelyn, Redwood City, Calif.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Leonard, Victor, Norbert and Rev. Claude LeClair and two sisters, Mary and Lorretta.
Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday evening. A prayer service will beheld at 7 p.m. by Rev. Paul Schumacher.
