Teresa (Tess) Lensmeyer, age 88, of 1628 Lilac Drive, Manitowoc, died Monday, August 16, 1999, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. William Zimmer at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc, on Thursday, August 19, 1999, at 11 a.m. Entombment will be at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
Tess was born December 4, 1910, in Owatonna, Minn., daughter of the late Michael and Cecelia Kujawa Budnick. She worked as a medical assistant for the late Dr. Daniel Pick for many years, retiring in 1981. She married Everett L. Lensmeyer on June 3, 1941, at Owatonna, Minn. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Everett; three sisters, Angeline (Virgil) Sandford, Saginaw, Mich., Sister Marcianne, Rochester, Minn., and Kathryn Kane, Belmont, Calif.; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Eve Olson.
Friends may call at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
