Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday (TODAY) at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial was the Rev. Camillus Janas O.F.M., with entombment at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
She was born Feb. 9, 1911, in Manistique, Mich., daughter of the late Michael and Amanda Krusic Barkovich. Angela was a graduate of Manistique High School. In February of 1938 she married Carl Malmberg in Manistique, Mich. He preceded her in death in January 1962. Angela was employed as a bookkeeper at Sterling Inc. of Milwaukee for 30 years, retiring in 1977. She was a lifetime member of St. Michael Hospital Auxiliary and also did volunteer work at the hospital for 11 years.
Survivors include two sisters and a brother-in-law: Rose and Carl Christianson, Miss Ann Barkovich, all of Manitowoc; three nieces: Sister Carletta Christianson, Manitowoc; Beverly Lewis, Westport, N.Y.: Barbara Pine, Arlington, Mass.; three grandnieces: Kathy, Karla and Kristine; a great-grand-nephew: Justin and a great-grandniece: Elizabeth. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by an infant brother.
The family greeted relatives and friends at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Manitowoc, from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service at 10 a.m.
