Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Camillus Janas O.F.M. with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum.
Mary was born Jan. 27, 1920 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Gilmet) Marks Duhame. June graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1938. On March 22, 1947 she married Chester P. Michalek at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 1996. June worked in the office at Manitowoc Engineering for many years. She was past president and a long time member of the Catholic Women's Club and a state board member and past president of Church Women United.
June is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clinton Marks and Rodney Marx; and one sister, Fern Rank.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc, on Wednesday Jan. 16, 2002 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
