Monta Joe Reedy, 81 of Austin passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. He was born September 15, 1993 in Prairie Lea, Texas to Monta Moore and Doris Reedy.
Monta Joe played football for Austin High School in 1950 and 1951. He sold Automotive Shop Equipment in the Austin and surrounding areas for over 50 years, the last 23 years with Hunter Engineering Co.
Those left behind to cherish his memories include his wife of 59 years O'Letha Reedy; daughter Kris Stauffacher; son Craig Reedy and wife Debbie; four grandchildren Hayden and Hunter Stauffacher, and Kasey and Kelly Reedy.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Avalon Memory Care for the incredible care they provided to Monta Joe and his family. They would also like to thank Heavenly Care Givers.
Visitation will be held with funeral service at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home Chapel in Pflugerville, Texas. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/ Capital Parks Cemetery.
