He is survived by his daughters Tina Kendall,Donna(Terry) Ryan, Amy(Owen)Mockbee and Jennie(Gene)Glines;
his brothers, Steven (Cindy)Hale, John Hale and Jerry Hale; he sisters, Roxy(John) Hale-Ehman and Jody (Ron)Hale-Cohen;
his grandchildren, Anthony, Dakota, Misti Ryan, Casey, Noah, John, Jacob Mockbee, Meranda Hale, Cameron Laws,
Jessie, Nikki, Katie and Michael Glines;
his great-grandchildren, Laeni and Sydney Ryan, Lilly Scheffert, Emma Richter, Jordon King and Sophia Samson;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Rickie J. Hale.
Charles was a man who knew no stranger; he open his home and his heart to anyone. He was not above sacrificing his own time to help others.Charles worked at Goodyear in Danville for 35 years; and would often help people outside of work with any repairs. Charles loved to go fish and boating; he could also be found spinning ladies across the dance floor. He loved music; he enjoyed playing guitar singing, he used to play to his daughters when they was younger.
Charles also loved spending time riding on horseback. Above all else, Charles loved his family he will be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have know him.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 15,2014 from 11am-1pm. at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. A celebration of Charles life will be held at 1:00 pm. on Wednesday January 15,2014 at the funeral home.
