Robert R. [sic] Leader

Services for Robert Frank Leader, 17, of Coos Bay will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Campbell-Watkins’ Coos Bay Chapel with the Rev. Roy Green of the Coos Bay Church of the Nazarene officiating. Graveside services will be at Ocean View Memory Gardens in Coos Bay.

Mr. Leader was born June 12, 1957, at Sandpoint, Idaho, and died Sunday, June 23, at the result of a swimming accident in the Umpqua River 15 miles north of Elkton. He was a student at Marshfield High School and was employed by Sause Bros. Ocean Towing Co.

Survivors include parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rogers of Coos Bay; brothers, Bradley Leader of Coos Bay, Larry Leader of Fairbanks, Alaska, Mark and Richard Leader of Coos Bay, and Donald Rogers, Jr. of Coos Bay; grandfather, Fred Brooks of Priest River, Idaho; grandmother, Mary Leader of Priest River, Idaho; and grandmother, Geneva Rogers of Post Falls, Idaho; uncles, Jack Brooks of Laclede, Idaho, Ralph Brooks of Priest River, Idaho, Steve Brooks of Spokane, Wash., and Paul Leader of Sandpoint, Idaho.
