David A. Leske passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 at Covenant HealthCare – Harrison at the age of 71 years. He was born July 6, 1943 in Bay City to the late Arthur and Luetta (Kintner) Leske. He married the former Linda “Shan” Lago and she survives him. Dave served our country in the U.S. Army and worked at Grey Iron Foundry for over 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed playing cards and taking walks to Tuthills to get his scratchies. Dave found great pleasure traveling with his wife and grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife Shan, he leaves two daughters; Tammy Thomas, Toby Leske, four grandchildren; Kendra Williams, Brandon Thomas, Taylor Thomas, Ayden Leske and two great-grandchildren; Ocean and Aspen Williams. Also surviving is one sister, Diane Walczak, three sister’s in-law; Karen, Elaine, Irene (Mouse) Leske, many brother’s In-law, sister’s in-law, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers; Peter, Walt & Timothy Leske, two sisters; Virginia Sommerfield, Penny Dukarski and many other brother’s in-law and sister’s in-law. Funeral service will take place Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the Squires Funeral Home. Linda Studniarz will conduct the service with burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Squires Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 – 8 p.m. and on Friday after 10:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider family wishes.
