Elgar Bainter Dies After Long Illness
Burial To Be Made in Good Hope Cemetery Sunday
All that is mortal of Elgar Bainter is to be brought back and buried Sunday at Good Hope in the community where he spent virtually his entire life. He was 78 years old. He died after a lingering illness, complicated by the infirmities of advancing years, in Dayton Thursday, according to word recieved here Saturday morning by relatives. He has two daughters and a son there where he has been making his home for the past three or four years since he left Good Hope. He was a carpenter by trade but also made a wide circle of friends throughout this and adjoining counties when he sold fertilizer direct to the farmers. He was also well known in Washington C. H. where he has family connections. Funeral services, it was said, will be held in Dayton and interment is to be made in the Good Hope cemetery about 4 o'clock Sunday with a short commital service.
