PAULINE SCHEELER

Mrs. Joseph Scheeler, nee Pauline Rupp (photo), 65, of 1026 S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon at her home following a lingering illness.

Mrs. Scheeler was born in 1886 at Catherine, Kan., daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Rupp. In 1904 she was married to Mr. Scheeler and made her home at Kansas City, Mo., until 1923 when the couple came to Manitowoc. She was a member of St. Ann's C.M.A. Society of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Mittnacht funeral home, Manitowoc and at 9 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc, Rev. Alfred Pritzl officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Survivors are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Frank and Mrs. Martina Winters, both of Chicago, and Mrs. Harry Kollath and Mrs. Dwight Little, both of Manitowoc; four brothers, Leo and Louis Rupp, both of Hays, Kan., Joseph Ruppof Milwaukee and Peter Rupp of Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Peters of Chicago, Mrs. Anna Peters of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Clement Frank of Mason
City, Calif., 20 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. An only son, Joseph, was killed in action during World War II.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Sunday until the time of services. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday.
