Sherry Alene Grover Lang, 57, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away April 3,2013 at Springfield Idaho.

She was born May 18, 1955 in Dillon, MT to Sam and Gwen Grover, the eighth of eleven children. She was raised on cattle ranches and grew up with a love of the outdoors and the simple things in life. In high school Sherry participated in track and field events as well. After high school she worked at the child development center and Ashelmans living center of Shelley.

She always enjoyed the outdoors and even after her marriage she enjoyed having her horses, herb gardens and a few flowers growing around her home.

She married Val Anthony Lang July 22,1974 and to them were born two sons, Cody Burke Lang of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and Charles Cory Lang of Firth.

Sherry is survived by her ex-husband Val; her two sons; daughter in law Tanya Thurman Lang; and her two granddaughters, McKenna Kay and Kayla, whom she loved and dedicated her life. Other surviving relatives include brothers, Billy Grover of Washington, Dean Grover of Wyoming, Joe Grover of Moreland, Dan Grover of Springfield, Kim Grover of Moreland and John Grover of Pocatello; sisters, Joanne Stosich of Montana, Carol Etley of Montana, Kay Calzada of Aberdeen and Kathy Grover of Moreland, with whom Sherry took her residence.

Family and friends will gather for a farewell service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the cultural hall in the LDS 5th Ward church, 740 W. 175 N. in Moreland. Family has been under the care of Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot.
