Obituary:
Miss Mary A. Abel, a former Fort Wayne resident, died at 12:15 am yesterday in Indianapolis. She had served 43 years in the Fort Wayne School system, and was principal at South Wayne School before her retirement in 1920. Miss Abel was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Cornelia Fairbanks chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution at Indianapolis.
Survivors are two nieces, Mrs. Fred K. Sale, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Kirk J. Corkery, Toronto, Canada, and a nephew, Clarence Abel, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
Services will be held at 3 pm Monday at the Klaehn Funeral Home, the Rev. W. J. Hannuim officiating. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
