Marlin W. Kindt LEBANON Marlin W. Kindt, 93, died Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the VA Medical Center, Lebanon. He was the husband of Margaret F. (Betz) Kindt, who died February 22, 2011. Born in Lebanon on April 20, 1922, he was the son of the late Paul M. and Esther Mae (Gettle) Kindt. A 1939 graduate of Lebanon High School, he was a member of New Life Chapel, Lebanon, where he served on the Board of Deacons. Marlin served in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a Torpedoman Second Class, and was employed as a foreman and machinist at Everite Knitting Mills, Lebanon, for 30 years, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed traveling, going to the Outer Banks, and riding his motorcycle. He is survived by daughters, Patricia A., wife of Rev. Frederick M. Hain, Sr., of Lebanon, Karen E., wife of Russell E. Harvey, Jr., of Cornwall; grandsons, Rev. Frederick M., Jr., husband of Tina Hain, of Lebanon, Michael F., husband of Jayne Hain, of Lebanon, Russell E. III, husband of Shannon Harvey, of Cornwall, and Randy S., Harvey, of Lebanon; great-grandchildren, Alicia, Jessica, Cameron, Donavan, and Braden Hain, all of Lebanon, and Grace A. and Addie E. Harvey, of Cornwall, Chloe A. Harvey, of Lebanon, and Makayla and Tyler Letteer, of Cornwall; a brother, Charles E. Kindt, Sr., of Lebanon; and sisters, Betty Zerbe, of Robesonia, Lois Schwartz, of Lebanon, and Sandra Klick, of Lebanon. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 1, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Life Chapel, 100 N. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17046 -
