Richard "Dick" Beimborn

Richard "Dick" Beimborn, age 75, of Reedsville, died on Friday April 24, 2015 at his home.

He was born on April 16, 1940 in Winchester, WI son of the late Marvin and Emily (Cizek) Beimborn. He graduated from Neenah High School in 1958. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served from 1960 to 1964. During that time, he was awarded the National Defense, National Expidentary and the Good Conduct Medals. Dick married Phyllis Beach on July 30, 1965. He worked in the concrete and construction industry most of his life. He went back to school and received his degree in accounting. He was a member of AMVETS Post 1032 in Reedsville. Dick loved NASCAR, the Packers and Cubs, watching Jeopardy and mowing lawn. He and Phyllis loved bird watching together.

Survivors include his wife Phyllis, his children, Rick (Lisa) Beimborn of Reedsville, Sherry (Steve) Peters of Appleton, Carey (Jim) Miller of Appleton, Holly (Lee) Schwahn of Reedsville, he was "Papa" to his 13 grandchildren, Emily and Jake Beimborn. Tayler, Jordan, Brett, Drew and Ben Peters, Brad, Jeff and Jenna Miller, Mitch, Ryan and Connor Schwahn, 2 sisters, Pauline (Duane) Schultz of Mountain, Marlene (Al) Wohlers of Neenah, a brother-in-law Whitey Boegh of Appleton and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Doris Boegh.

Memorial service will be held on Monday April 27 at 7:00 P.M. at the Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville. Chaplin Cliff Mast will officiate. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum in Manitowoc. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville on Monday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of service. Online condolences may be made at www.wieting-funeralhome.com
