Charlotte Bower Avery died Nov. 13, 1930, of typhoid fever at her home at Highwood. She was born at Highwood Sept. 20, 1915, and has lived here all her life. She is survived by her husband Albert Avery, infant daughter, Leela, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Bower, four brothers, Carl, David, Floyd and Peter, and sister, Bessie Bower. Services were held Saturday, Nov. 15, followed by burial at Arbutus cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 11-20/1930 Column - 1 Page - 1
