Those apparently were their second marriage and second divorce. A businessman in Andrews, SC, Mona's home town, told this contributor that they had been married and divorced twice.
The contributor knows that his classmate Eddie left NC State University the week before final exams in May 1958. He talked with Eddie in the summer of 1959 when he and Eddie were working at International Paper Company's Pine Bluff, Arkansas, mill. His understanding was that Eddie and Mona were then married. (He had known Mona in high school.) That was the last time he saw Eddie.

Mayer Funeral Home, Georgetown, SC, record, 1948, lists Virginia Ferrill Talley's children: Son, Martin E. Talley Jr.; Daughter, Lillian Ann Talley.

Mary Alice Raley Talley's obituary seems to euphemistically call children and stepchildren "children."
