"Lewis Mecham, a well respected citizen of Wallsburg, died at his home at six a.m. on Tuesday, of stomach trouble. Mr. Mecham was born at Provo 56 years ago last Monday but has resided at Wallsburg during the past 23 years. A wife, five sons and two daughters, youngest of whom is eight years of age, survive him and mourn his departure."
