Myron Demond Golightly, 35, transitioned from this life on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at a local care center. Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Saturday at Strangers Rest Baptist Church, 5705 Donnelly Ave., at Horne Street, the Rev. R.A. Toliver, eulogist. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: You may visit Myron from 9 to 5 p.m. Friday at Tree of Life Funeral Directors; the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at New Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 2600 E. Rosedale. As Myron's earthly remains depart the church he will be carried by a horse-drawn hearse to visit his family residence one final time. Survivors: Daughter, A'Myria Golightly; parents, Larry and Carolyn Golightly; brother, Larry D. Golightly II; niece, London Golightly; companion and her children, Tierria Leonard, Darius, Jaelyn and Makiyah; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
