Age 95 years. Miss Bohle was born on Aug. 26, 1910, the daughter of Gottfried and Hedwig Bohle. She lived her entire life in the house built by her grandfather.

She was a graduate of Mitchell Elementary School, South Division High School and UWM, receiving a Masters of Education degree in 1941.

Miss Bohle taught elementary grades in MPS for more than 42 years. After short terms at N. 18th St., Grant and Mitchell Schools, she taught for 25 years at Manitoba School. She dearly loved her students, expecting and guiding each one to excel.

Miss Bohle loved to travel with friends and teachers groups. She was a life member of the Association for Childhood Education, as well as a member of the Milwaukee Retired Teachers Association, the Wisconsin Retired Teachers Association, the Friends of Milwaukee Museum, the Milwaukee Historical Society and many other clubs and associations.

After passing on Sept. 11, 2005, Miss Bohle joined her parents; her brother, Albert and all but a very few of her friends who preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother, Arthur and his wife, Jane and her spiritual family at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was a lifelong member.

Miss Bohle has requested memorials be directed to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2235 W. Greenfield Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53204. Private funeral services were held.
