Evaline Allen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Allen, was born at Oneil, Nebraska November 24, 1886 and died at a hospital in Rice Lake on Saturday November 10th. She was married to John C. Powell at Anawa, Iowa, July 5, 1904. To this union were born 4 children: Opal, William, Echo, and Evelyn. Mr. Powell died on November 29, 1920. On November 14, 1922, she was united in marriage to Norman Andress, at Spooner, and to them was born two children: Norma Jean and Allen John.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, six children three grandchildren, father and mother, sisters and brothers, and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held from the M.E. Church Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev C. Paul Nulton officiating. Internment was made in the Shell Lake Cemetery.
