MINEVILLE, N.Y. - John "Shorty" F. Deresky, age 63, of Plank Road in Mineville, passed away on Wednesday, February 11th 1982 at the Medical Center of Vermont in Burlington, Vt.
He was born on December 23rd 1918 in Witherbee, N.Y., he was the son of Matthew and Anna Mary (Tartaras) Deresky.
He was the beloved husband of Frances (Dembrosky) Deresky.
Mr. Deresky was a retired Mine Foreman for the Republic Steel Corporation in Mineville, N.Y.
He was a member of the BPOE Lodge 1494 in Ticonderoga, N.Y.
