Dad's parents were Raymond Leighton and Monona Cordelia (Bailey) Clifford of Auburn, Maine. He was preceeded in death by his parents and infant sister Lois, brother Roscoe, and sister Doris.
He served in the US Army during WWII and was in the 10th Armored Division as a tank radio repairman.
He came to Washington State in the early 1950's with his wife Helen and 4 children; Art Jr., Alan, Linda and Joyce. He retired from Lone Star Cement in Seattle.
He loved gardening, carpentry and the outdoors. Dad was a loving father & husband, and a good friend & neighbor.
