Peacefully at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, Ottawa on Monday morning, September 16th, 2013. Bruce Ernest Bigras of Swamp Road, Renfrew at the age of 58 years. Dear son of Marg Bigras (nee Schubrink) of Arnprior and the late Ernest Bigras. Beloved and devoted husband of Shelley (nee Clarke). Cherished and proud Dad of Jennifer (Corey); Carrie (Fred); and Becky (Adrian). Adored Poppa of Owen, Rylan and Cael, and a soon to be granddaughter. Special brother of Carolyn (Garry); Greg (Val); and Kevin (Josee). Dearly loved brother-in-law of Brian and Sherrie; Vicki and Patti. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, countless friends and acquaintances. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Thursday morning from 9:45 until 10:30 a.m. A service to celebrate and remember Bruce's life will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Thursday morning, September 19th at 11am. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery.
