Born April 19, 1959 in Painesville, Ohio to Paul Leon Gilbert and Persis Anne (Frey).
He married Wanda Smith on October 14, 1989
Worked as a Machinist for Alcoa in Cleveland
Mr. Gilbert was a 1977 Graduate of Perry High School, He served in the United States Army and was an award winning photographer. He had a true love of nature and over time, developed a passion for shooting with a camera rather than shooting with a gun.
He is survived by his Father John Thomas Hill of Perry; Brothers Richard Gilbert of Painesville; Thomas Hill of Chardon; Sisters Joanne (Brian) Jackson of Painesville; Bonnie (Ronald) Merrill of Perry; Nieces Cynthia Gilbert and Jacqueline Jackson; Great Nephew Cameron Fiorelli and Fiance Grace Richmond of Jefferson.
He was preceded in death by his Mother Persis Anne (Gilbert) Hill; Father Paul Gilbert & Wife Wanda Gilbert.
