Advance - Wilburn Benjamin Evans, of Advance, died Wednesday at his home here. He was 67 years old.
He was born Feb. 28, 1915, at Bee Branch, Ark. He was married to the former Eunice Adams, who preceded him in death on Jan. 3, 1978.
He was a retired farmer, and a veteran of World War II, having served with the Army. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and First Baptist Church here.
Surviving are eight sons, Rondel Walton, Johnnie Richardson, Connie Walton, Danny Walton, Carl Johnson, James Evans, Daniel Evans and Calvin Walton; three daughters, Mrs. Ann Call, Mrs. Sharon Slayton and Mrs. Virginia Chidister; two brothers, Polie and Bill Evans; two sister, Mrs. Bernice Ward and Mrs. Villar Stacks; 32 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Friday at the Morgan Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Morgan Memorial Park.
