She married Homer Alec Dier in 1951. They lived together until he died in 1963. They had two children, Patricia (Tricia) and Michael (Mickey).
She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Byram and worked there in the day care until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, working in her yard and reading.
She leaves her loving children, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and many caring relatives and friends.
