Former Police Chief at Veeders Died Sunday
John L. Glover, former Veedersburg resident, died Sunday, November 16, 1941 at Covington, Indiana. He was born near Covington, Dec. 20, 1866, the son of William and Martha Ward Glover. Several years of his lifetime were spent in Veedersburg, where he served as city policeman and later was in business in Covington.
Three daughters survive, Mrs. John Patterson, Mrs. Anne Lape, and Mrs. Albert Clem, all of Covington. There are also three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Manlove, Mrs. Goldie Schafer, Attica, Miss Blanche Glover, Covington, and a brother, Arch Glover, Hammond, Indiana. Funeral services were Tuesday in Covington, with burial at Rockfield cemetery, Veedersburg.
