Born in Memphis, TN to Elbert Durall Smith and Pamela Fry Smith, Scott made music his life.
He was a musician who liked to play steel and box guitar and sing in the choir. He greatly enjoyed writing and recording songs.
Scott is survived by his mother, Pamela Fry Smith of Harmontown, MS; his father, Elbert Durall Smith of Memphis, TN; an aunt, Edna Rushton of Alabama; two uncles, Mike Fry of Coldwater, MS and Donny Joe "DJ" Fry of Millington, TN; and numerous cousins.
Memorial contributions in Scott's memory may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 87 CR 523, Como, MS 38619.
