Anna Maria Franze, was my grandmother and like a second mother. She was around when my sister Anna, (named after her), Brother Joe, God rest his soul, and I were little as my parents worked when we were young and she was like our mother who toilet trained us and watched us for years. She has, 5 children, whom she brought to Canada with the help of her son Filippo, God rest his soul, 25 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren and beyond that as well. She was very set in her ways, but very humorous and loved to be with family. She told us how it was, and you couldn't change her mind, God love her! She is fondly remembered as a strong link in our family and one of the original building blocks to it as well as her sons, Guilio and Filippo. They are the main barriers of the family. She lived a good long life and has left her mark on all of us family members. I put this site her in her loving memory! God Bless you Nonna!
