Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mr. Wiley L. Braddy, Jr., age 67 of Midville, GA on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Emanuel Medical Center.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Scott McKinney officiating, assisted by Rev. Dr. Ray Freeman. Interment will follow in the Wiggins Family Cemetery in Blun. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6-8 PM. Pallbearers are Charles Rachels, George Rachels Jr., Nicky Drake, Joe Kirkland, Luke McKenzie III and Nicholas McClendon

Mr. Braddy was born in Swainsboro, Emanuel County, to the late Wiley L. Sr. and Hazel Smith Braddy and was a 1966 graduate of Swainsboro High School. He was employed by Rachels Machine Shop for 35 years, was Summertown City Councilman for the past 8 years and a member of the Big Horn Hunting Club. Mr. Braddy was a member of Summertown Baptist Church and was preceded in death by is wife, Myrtle Hall Braddy.

One Sister: Linda Braddy of Swainsboro
Two Step-Sons: Luther C. McKenzie Jr. (Sharon) of Midville, GA and Scottie D. McKenzie (Emily) of Swainsboro
Two Step-Grandchildren: Luke C. McKenzie III (Katie) and Stormy L. McKenzie
Three Step-Great-Grandchildren: Addison Denney, Channum Denney and Race McKenzie.
