Jemima was the daughter of David Davies and Sarah Thomas. She married William D. Williams, 10 Jan 1869, Registers Office, Neath, Glamorgan, Wales.

FORMER RESIDENT DIES
Word was received by telegram yesterday by William D. Williams of 25 West Hillside avenue, announcing the death of his aged mother, Mrs. Jamina Williams, aged 83, who died in a hospital at Washington, D. C., following a lingering illness of complications. She had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Richard C. Lewis. The body is expected to arrive here this afternoon and will be removed to the home of her son William D. Williams, 25 West Hillside avenue. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Richard C. Lewis, with whom she lived and two sons, William D. Williams and Arthur Williams.

JEMIMA WILLIAMS BURIED
The funeral of Mrs. Jemima Williams, a former highly esteemed resident of this town, was held Saturday afternoon from the home of her son, William D. Williams, 25 West Hillside avenue, which was largely attended by relatives and friends. Services were conducted by Rev. J. B. Burling of Scranton and Rev. R. M. Spencer of Lamb's Creek, assisted by Rev. James G. Evans, pastor of Pilgrim Congregational church.

Two favorite hymns of the deceased were sung, No Night There and Asleep in Jesus. Services at the grave at Forty Fort cemetery were concluded by the singing of the hymn, The Christian's Good Night.

The pall bearers were William T. Jones, Jonah Roberts, John Phillips, Richard Matthews, Richard Williams and Horace Lewis.
