Joe was born Sept. 30, 1967, at Fort Campbell, Ky. He was a lifelong resident of Greenville where he grew up and attended school. He went on to attend Mississippi Delta Community College and receive his electrical degree. He later attended E-Delta Learning Institute where he earned a degree as a computer hardware technician. He was a member of United Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Linda and Johnny Smith of Greenville; his father and stepmother, Joe and Cynthia Harmon III of Springfield, Ga.; his sister and brother-in-law, Stacy and Tracy Hipp of Brandon; three sons, Eric Harmon of Greenville, Coty Harmon of Gonzales, La., and Joshua Harmon of Richland; one daughter, Fallon Harmon of Richland; and all his church family at United Pentecostal Church.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, Greenville.
The Rev. Steve Cantu and the Rev. James Dykes will officiate.
