RITES SET FOR FORMER JUSTICE OF THE PEACE

MONTICELLO--Jack Osborn, 57, 226 N. Illinois St., died Tuesday at his home.

Born in Logansport December 8, 1916, he was the son of Raymond and Bertha Osborn.

A former Justice of the Peace in Union township, he operated the Main Café for 12 years, a rooming house for three years, and was an employe of the Bryan Manufacturing Co. of Monticello. He was also a member of the Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic church, the Holy Name Society, and was a past president of the Optimists Club.

He is survived by his mother, Kokomo; two daughters, Mrs. Candace Walters and Mrs. Barbara Watkins, both of Lakewood, Colo.; one brother, Frank, Florida; one sister, Mrs. Betty Perry, Kokomo; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert Fosselman officiating. Burial will be in the Riverview cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Miller-Voorhis Funeral home, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday.
