Obituary from Albuquerque Journal 6/7/1993:

"Weaver - Viola Weaver, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1935, died Sunday, June 6, 1993. She is survived by her sons, . . . , James F., Gilbert H. Weaver and wife, . . . , and . . . ; daughters, . . . [four]; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild due in October; sister-in law, Mrs. John C. Freeman of Balko, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Weaver. During World War I, she was a member of George O'Breece Women's Auxiliary. She attended Harwood United Methodist Church. Mrs. Weaver was a member of Merritt Acres Extension Club for 57 years, and was also a member of the Farm Bureau for many years. Mrs. Weaver enjoyed sewing and quilting. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University NE, with reverend Timothy Neustifter officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Jerry Revels, Jeff Revels, Steve Weaver, Doug Weaver, Paul Granone, and Sy Ellibee. Memorial contributions may be made to Harwood United Methodist Church, 310 San Lorenzo NW, 87107 or New Mexico Boys Ranch, Boys Ranch, NM 87002-5000."
