The son of James W. and Martha (Stiles) Hancock, he was born September 21, 1964 in Indiana.
Wesley was a devoted father and retired as a Senior Chief Gunner’s Mate in the United States Navy.
Surviving are his sons, James W. and Vernon H. Hancock, both of Memphis, TN; a brother, Michael Hancock, Clarksburg; a sister, Susan, and close friend, Will Embleton, Virginia Beach, VA.
Wesley was proceeded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, Indiana. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. in the Lefdahl Chapel with Rev. Micah McMillen, officiating. Military rites will be provided by Indiana VFW Post 1989. Interment will follow in the West Lebanon Cemetery.
