Born in Trenton, New Jersey to the late Richard and Lillian (Dennard) Williams, Evelyn had been a resident of Ansonia for the past ten years and prior to that she was a resident of Seymour for five years.
She was employed as a private duty nurse for the Jewish Home in Fairfield.
Her spiritual needs were met as a disciple of Real Tabernacle Christian Center in Derby and she served as a Church Elder and worked with the Outreach Ministry.
Survivors are three sons, Ernest Baldwin of Derby, John Jenkins of Iowa, and Dominic Boyd of Ansonia; a daughter, Frances Williams of Stratford; three sisters, Ruby Pettway, Margaret Burnett and Lillian Williams all of Bridgeport; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
