Mrs. Sarah L. Hungate, widow of the late A. J. Hungate, died this morning after an illness of about four weeks. Old age and an injury sustained in falling was the cause of death.
Mrs. Hungate was born in Decatur Co., Indiana, August 8, 1832, and has lived in Kansas since May 1, 1868.
She was the mother of nine children, but only two, George Ritchie Hungate and Otis E. Hungate, are living.
The funeral will be held from the Otis Hungate residence, 1100 Quincy Street, at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon.
